Have a Great Summer!

Hello BCMA  Family!

We did it! Friday was the last day of school for the 2019/2020 school year and wow, it has been a roller coaster. Traditionally, the last day of school is one of the most bittersweet days as a school leader. Though we welcome the more relaxed schedule, it means that we don’t see all of you – our amazing students for the summer months.

This year our feelings toward this day are no different. Even though we are not standing on the sidewalk and waving goodbye as you drive away, we are still waving and cheering you on from home. What we missed in memories, we gained in perseverance and strength.

As we reflect on this year, we are overwhelmed with a sense of pride. Parents and guardians  – YOU DID IT! The past few months have not been easy. You became teachers overnight while balancing work, preparing meals, caring for loved ones and so much more. But, you did it – you overcame, you served with grace, you did what was best for your child and maybe you learned a few new things along the way. We are extremely impressed with how our BCMA  families rallied through the past 14 weeks of distance learning. We are extremely appreciative of our students, parents, teachers, staff and administrators for your positivity, flexibility and resilience during these unique times.

Please know that we are here for you now, over the summer and in the fall with whatever you need. We are working closely with our local ISD, health department and other local and state officials to do whatever we can to ensure a healthy and safe return to school in the fall, whatever that may look like.

Our plan is to update you with information as soon as we hear it, so please watch your email, connect with us on Facebook.

We will continue to have meals over the summer in the parking lot from 11:30 to 12:15, Monday through Friday. Our summer hours for the office will be Monday-Thursday from 11:00 am-3:00 pm. We are here for you so please call or stop by if you need assistance.

We hope you have a wonderful, restful summer. Thank you for choosing us to educate your children. See you on our first day of school, August 24, 2020.

Stay Awesome!

Ms. Jes
