From BCMA to high school graduates

We are excited to see two of our Battle Creek Montessori Academy students graduate from high school. Their hard work and commitment took them far after their time at BCMA. Not only are they graduating, but they are growing and developing into such strong and incredible young adults. From when they were in elementary school to now, we are proud to see where life is taking them and who they are becoming.

Hear the importance BCMA played in these high school grads’ educational journeys.

Dyontae Lang: Dyontae was one of the first students to attend BCMA. He started in 2013 as a 6th grader and then after being promoted to high school in the 8th grade his family moved to Arizona. From the first day of school at BCMA in 2014 to graduation day 2019, he is flourishing and we are so proud.

Dyontae is taking a gap year to figure out his next steps. He is debating between going to college or going to a trade school. He does know that he wants to do welding of some sort.

Allie Williams: Allie started at BCMA in 2015 as a 6th grader and got promoted to high school in 2018. She then went to W.K. Preparatory High School. Allie excelled and graduated high school in one year! Yes, you read that right. It was her grit and fierce determination that allowed her to excel. What an amazing accomplishment.

She plans to attend a program through Goodwill where they help her find a job and go through college. She is still debating between cosmetology and nursing.
